Flight Crafters was founded to provide assistance and education for the aircraft kit builder. We believe that the construction of your aircraft kit can be a fun and rewarding process. We have talked with hundreds of kit owners, over the years. Many come to us because they want to know that their investment will result in a flying airplane and not a pile of "dusty" parts in the garage or hanger. These builders also want the assurance that their kit will produce a safe and valuable aircraft. Let's face it---you are investing a considerable amount of money which does not start to pay you back until the airplane flys!
We believe that maximum enjoyment of your kit is obtained by building the airplane, yourself. Assistance and help is always necessary when building a kit. The quality and experience of this "help" will result in a beautiful and technically superior airplane.
But some things are best left to the experts. Electrical systems and fuel systems in aircraft do not leave room for errors. Experience here is an asset. Proper engine installation is vital. The paint and interior trim of an airplane can result in an aircraft that you are proud to call "your own". Weight and balance and pre-first flight inspections are critical. At Flight Crafters we take these items very seriously.
